WALKER. 2020

I received a long plank. It was wide at the bottom and narrowed on both sides at the top. The shape of the plank, raw and beautiful as it was, became my inspiration when I was given the task of making a stool. I wanted to show the material as much as I could, the patterned surface of the wood the way it was cut.

​

The legs reminded me of Star Wars imperial Walker, hence the name.

​

It is made of birch and has a canvas cushion.
